Auto Assault News

For:PC Release Date: 12 April 2006

The Auto Assault beta period has been extended into spring 2006 to allow for suggested improvements to be made.

With the beta being extended the release date has now obviously also slipped back until some point after the testing period ends in the spring. Steven Snow, the game's producer said: "We were all excited about a 2005 release, but these changes - and ones to come in the future - will make Auto Assault the best it can be."

"The beta testing period has spawned some great ideas that we want to include before launch," said Snow. "NetDevil and NCsoft are both companies with a strong commitment to releasing 'only when it's ready,' so we want to extend the beta into the spring of 2006. Over this time, we are going to continue tuning, tweaking, and adding to Auto Assault."

Some of the improvements to be made include client performance, faster paced level progression, more customisable character creation, adding more than 1000 new items, and adding new chassis.
