Most of the versions are practically identical, with only a few variations with each one. I for one am getting the digital deluxe edition; the stuff in the codex one doesn't look much worth the extra money...

I thought UBI had dropped drm for this & i'm finding that the more editions the are of a game the quicker the price drops , or is that just me ?
Hopes for 20 versions of Uncharted3 so it'll be a fiver on the saturday lol.

Oh, well if consoles got 4 versions as well then that's equally pointless xD

From their perspective it's pointless doing it on PC because they know 4 SKU's is an awkward marketing stance. PC gamers who can actually run it will probably be aware of the DRM issues that have been prevalent in prior Ubisoft titles.

To be fair one of the Skus is a Digital only, which is really something on Pc due to the likes of steam. I fail to see why it is pointless any way, if the consoles get a certain amount of versions the Pc is more than entitled to the same treatment

They forgot the 'Shafted with Draconian Restrictions Management' feature in those listings.

Having 4 SKU's for a game is just the dumbest thing ever. Halo 3 just about got away with having 3, and Halo 3 was a pretty big deal. 4 versions for another iteration of Assassin's Creed... on the PC... pointless.

I find the lack of prices for these fancy editions disturbing.
