A boxed retail edition of free-to-play MMO APB Reloaded hits shelves today in North America.

The MMO will be made available in Best Buy, Target, GameStop, and Walmart for a retail price of $29.99.

Available alongside the disc and manual, users will receive 30 days free Premium account status and 500 G1 credits to use in APB's microtransaction store.

Additionally, APB players will get a faction-specific sports car and a special secondary weapon.

This comes just days after the announcement of APB Reloaded's open beta being made available on Steam.

APB Reloaded is the completely re-designed free-to-play version of failed MMO All Points Bulletin which was given a 5/10 when initially launched last year.

The driving controls better, in the sense that it doesn't feel like you're trying to float a car down rapids.

Like the trailer :P

Decided to queue this on Steam last night but still putting away at a measly 45kb/s. Hopefully see it pick up pace soon.

It's free. Worth a shot.
