Aliens vs. Predator game coming from SEGA

Previously announced Aliens titles have now been delayed.

SEGA today announced it will publish an all-new Aliens vs. Predator (working title) game in early 2010. The game is in development at Rebellion, creators of the original and highly regarded Alien versus Predator game from 1999.

SEGA has also announced that it has strategically updated the release dates of upcoming Aliens titles currently in development - Aliens: Colonial Marines by Gearbox and an unnamed Obsidian developed Aliens RPG. These two titles will now be released after the 2010 debut of AvP.

"It represents a fantastic addition to our growing Aliens franchise and the reinvention of one of gaming's most cherished iconic titles. By adjusting the release of our other Aliens titles to accommodate it, SEGA will ensure that every title lives up to the high expectations of Aliens and AvP fans."

SEGA says it will announce further details of the new Aliens vs. Predator "very soon".
