Age of Conan expansion out May 11

Rise of the Godslayer to be available at retail outlets and via digital download.

Funcom has announced the launch of the pre-order campaign for Age of Conan expansion, Rise of the Godslayer.

The expansion, set in the eastern empire of Khitai, builds on the extensive Conan universe and will let players travel to a unique part of Conan's world where an ancient traditional culture clashes with dark forces.

The expansion will launch on May 11 and will be available through retail and as a digital download. The on-disc release will be offered in an all-new package that includes both the expansion and the original game. The retail package also comes bundled with a new social pet as well as a range of virtual items to welcome new players to Hyboria.
