New property in development for Wii, Nintendo DS and PC, with release set for 2010.
THQ and Blue Fang Games have today announced they have entered into a development agreement for a brand new video game property. The new title is to be released on Wii, Nintendo DS and PC in 2010.
Blue Fang is most known for its hugely successful Zoo Tycoon franchise, having sold over seven million units worldwide and gained recognition from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, Children's Software & New Media Revue, Scholastic Parent & Child, and Parents' Choice.
"With sales in excess of seven million units worldwide, Blue Fang's Zoo Tycoon franchise has served to expand the casual gaming demographic through its accessible, compelling gameplay," said Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of publishing, THQ. "We're confident that this new property will strongly appeal to the new generation of casual players on Nintendo Wii and DS."
First details of the new title will be released later this year.
