Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox 360 camera will ship with Totem Ball - a gesture-controlled game.

During Microsoft Gamefest, Microsoft's Jeff Stone has revealed that the upcoming Xbox Live Vision camera will ship with a gesture-controlled game called Totem Ball. The game has been developed by two UK Mac developers and will rely on the camera to track the player's arm movements.

Players are required to guide a wheeled totem pole around the levels, collecting items along the way and reaching the exit before the time-limit expires. Stone also revealed that other gesture-controlled games are in development, but was not willing to dish out any details.

The Xbox Live Vision camera is scheduled fore release on September 19 in North America, with Europe having to wait until October 2.

Everybody copies everybody else in any industry, that is how things get better over time. That said, they'll need something special to steal market share from the Eyetoy.
