Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace for Europe later this year

Microsoft confirms roll-out of video on demand service across Europe and Canada.

US Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying Microsoft's video on demand service for some time now and later this year European and Canadian gamers will also be given access to the service.

The Xbox 360 video store will be home to hundreds of hours of high definition and standard definition content, including TV shows and motion pictures, all easily accessible via Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Expect Microsoft to announce pricing details and a release date later this year.
