Microsoft has posted a 22% increase in revenue for its Home & Entertainment division, but this hasn't stopped the division making a loss. The arm's yearly loss is now $391 million, down from $1.2 billion the previous year, but despite this big improvement, the Home & Entertainment division, where the Xbox resides, is still a fair way off making money.

Microsoft does not immediately expect to make any money from the Xbox 360 console either and is willing to take losses in the short to medium term for long term gain in the lucrative videogames market.
