Wii Fit Plus returns with a black balance board

The best-selling fitness peripheral / cupboard clogger is coming home for Christmas.

If you're a Wii owner looking to lose weight - or if you've got a two foot square space in the cupboard under your stairs - it's time to rejoice and make happy sounds: Nintendo is re-releasing Wii Fit Plus.

The absurdly successful fitness game and peripheral bundle will return on October 7, and this time it'll come with a black Balance Board. Nintendo's press release vaguely attempts to make a link to Christmas, suggesting that the 60 activities will help you to shed weight ahead of the big day.

There's one clear advantage to the new Balance Board being black: the dust won't be so obvious when you invariably get bored and store it away to rot for the rest of eternity.
