White 320GB PS3 exclusive to GAME in the UK

GAME has secured the UK exclusive to sell the White 320GB PlayStation 3, the retailer has announced.

Released June 29 and priced £239.99, the white console comes bundled with two white DualShock 3 controllers, power cord, AV cable, USB cable, and a 90-day membership to PlayStation Plus.

The console is available to pre-order now.

Black is best as far as home consoles go. Well Black or Gears of War Red!!!

The price seems fine to me, but like you none of my existing kit is crisp white so for £240 I'd rather get a black one with a decent bundle attached. For £120 I'd rush out and buy it now, then probably sell it later after a couple of goes because I just haven't got time to play it. Just like I did with my £70 Wii, which, incidentally, was also white.

Oof, £240?!? I'm tempted to pick up a cheap console at some point (not that I really need to), but that price is just silliness.

Does the crisp white finish on the PS3 make me want to spend £240? No. But I have a PS3 already. If I didn't have one I'd at least consider it (for about 2 seconds before realising the rest of my stuff is black and it would stand out as much as I did when I shared a lift with a dozen or so Japanese tourists last weekend).

You'd probably be better off posing that question to non-PS3 owners. Neon? Karlius? FantasyMeister?

Ohhhh sexy just a shame I sold my wii cos it was white and got sky HD cos old box was white and everything else is black, and I really did get sky HD just cos it was black lol. Don't think price is very reasonable though.
