Nintendo Direct broadcast promises to be worth a watch.

Nintendo is set to reveal "new games for Wii U" during a Nintendo Direct broadcast tomorrow at 2pm GMT, the platform holder has announced.

President Satoru Iwata will helm the broadcast, but that's all the information Nintendo has given us.

The previous broadcast announced the October 2013 release date for Pokemon X and Y.

OK, now that I've gotten out of Yoshi's stomach (it was strange being in an egg, but I didn't die so I can't complain). Since they've got the obligatory mario, mario kart, zelda announcements out of the way now, to hold down the rabid screaming fans. Hopefully E3 will be a chance to announce some other big franchises that no one was expecting...

... Like a new metroid, or F-zero or starfox, or the thing by retro studios!

Looks like if I get a Wii-U it will be next year. The last game which was given a bit of hype looks a bit too Final Fantasy for my liking.

Wind Waker I thought was the highlight and makes up for a lack of a new Zelda coming out. Do think Nintendo need more exclusives like Bayonetta to grab me more and just not the usual Mario, Zelda and Mario Kart "updates"

HD Windwaker is fairly cool, considering it still looks great on the gamecube today. I know a lot of people didn't get on with it, but I liked sailing about in it, relaxing.

The News that counts from this Nintendo Direct:

a)New 3D mario game, mario kart, and the new smash bros, will be shown off at E3, but will not be released this year, (just screens in the case of smash bros).

b)Wii U party, blah, blah

c)Fire Emblem Vs Sin migumi Tensei (not spelt right)

d) New Zelda in the works (but will not be at E3)

e)HD re-imagining of the Legend of Zelda Wind Waker (out this fall)

f)New game from the creators of Xenoblabe Chronicles and it looks AMASING!!! IT'S RPG AND HAS MECHS!!!

g)Wii U Virtual console, coming spring.
Good news: If you own the Wii version of a VC game, you can upgrade it to allow for play on the Wii U gamepad, as well as save state features.
Bad news: You will have to pay for the upgrade, (but it is discounted by around 70% of the cost of buying the VC game new).
Better news: Starting today Nintendo will be releasing a couple VC games each month, earlier then the launch of the full VC system. Pricing. 30p each, for a limited time. Yes, classic games for less then iOS game prices.

h) Release dates (MH3U 22nd March, Lego city 28th March), and info of system updates making wii u faster.

I) New Yoshi game in the style of Kirby's epic yarn and yoshi's story combined!

I may of missed a couple things but that was the majority of it.

Looking forward to Wind Waker Wii U version, been a while since I played that on Gamecube. And Yey! for the new Yoshi game.
