You know, I understand what you are saying when you mentioned children tend to be more agressive when they play these violent games, and i completeky 100% agree with you. But to stretch that observation into the cause of marijuanna smoking, is quite obnoxious. Smoking marijuanna has absolutely nothing to do with the video games that youth are playing. I believe it is people like yourself who are so self-centered and your ignorace is in the way of you truely being able to recognize why these kids do what they do. I think this really needs to be adressed, and more people need to speak up about such nonsense being poured out into our lives. Also, i am not Pro-Marijuanna, but i think people need to open their minds more to really begin to understand our youth a little better. I work at a Detention center teaching Life Skills to young men ages 14-17. They have so much potential to do better, but because of crap like this, they begin to believe the stereotypes and judgements made upon them. Please, continue with your experiments, but i do not see them being worth any of your time and energy. Have a nice day : )

Ok, understand this grand theft auto games do not cause people to do drugs of any kind. It is just the plain need to releive the stress of living in such a horrible world. It can also be caused by peer pressure. Or just because they dont give a shit, and think to themselve"Who wants to live to be 80 anyway". If anything Grand Teft Auto is just good entertainment, and weed kicks ass.

I take cannabis because its the easiest way for a me to escape from how bad life can be, im 15 and I feel much more knowledgable of my age group that you could ever gain from studies. Help from other people, parents or doctors is very hard and from someone who smokes weed we don't have the confidence to speak out... I have dont play violent video games so this proves that this is not the lead. Im dure in the 60's violent video-games didnt exist, so how would you explain why people took it then? It dosnt take much more than common sense Dr. Brady that maybe perhaps this isnt something that can be blamed on games, theres a much deeper reason. Perhaps you should spend your time making it easier for young people to get confidential help and support for the underlying reasons, instead of wasting your time telling people whats wrong with them.

What a load of twoddle, obviously the people who chose "the simpsons hit and run" smoked less weed, were less violant or whatever is because they were the losers of life who do not even have the sense to choose the good game.
I just think the majority would have chosen GTA, so of course being the majority choice statistically has to have more violent types in the group than the minority group that contains less people.
