What a load of crap. I've been playing violent games for years. Hell, I even remember playing Mortal Kombat on Game Gear when I was 10 years old. I've never once tried any drugs.

I used to smoke canabis when I was younger but now I play video games instead.
Doing drink & drugs is just part of the growing up process for some & playing video games has nothing to do with it,young people will do it anyway if they are so inclined naturally.

Ive been playing VVG's for years and ive never wanted to to drugs! And in GTA, most of the time you play as a guy who wants to get rid of drugs! well, in Sa you do at least. Vice city...erm...moving on. And who wouldn't want to do crack after playing any simpsons game? their so crap, it makes you sad to think that this is what most developers are maing these days, and make you want to take up drugs!
and how do u kno they are christian? They might not even have a faith like me! bah!

the assumtions you guys make are completely out of line on how video games cause violence and people to smoke marijuana and drink achahol. i mean seriously you guys have nothing else better to do with your lives but ruin peoples fun, i mean of course people's blood pressure will go up its a video game people get into it but that doesnt mean a person who never smoked anything or drink anything is going to go out and rob a bank to get money to get drugs or alchahol just cause they played a video game.

Oh no, scrap what I just said your anecdotal evidence and conspiracy theories are just too overwhelming. Maybe all studies about violent video games are biased, I mean I used to play video games and I'm not a drug addict. Maybe the professional scientists all got confused and made a big mistake. Because they're biased.

No one is ever going to convince me that games are what kids go shoot each other in school or steal a car! If you have one iota of common sense or a decent parent then every kid knows its wrong to do what you can in a video game! My 6 year old can tell you that! Sheesh!

There was violence way before video games. It is just the hot topic of the year! That is all there is too it. First is was some caveman wacking a chick on the head with a club, then music, then tv, then movies, and now its time for games to go through their growing pains! Nothing more nothing less.

In a year or two parents and politicians will move onto something else. Grin
