British artist Quentin Devine in partnership with the Pokemon Company has created the world’s largest trading card mosaic, formed from 12,987 individual Pokemon Trading Card Game cards.

The record-setting mosaic measured 71.54 square metres, some 10 metres tall and seven metres wide.

Unveiled today in Paris, the larger than life card features Pikachu with its original pose drawn by GAME FREAK illustrator Ken Sugimori.

Anthony Cornish, marketing director for The Pokemon Company International, said: “We are incredibly excited to have secured this highly ambitious world record, and are thrilled to have worked with renowned artist Quentin Devine to bring the mosaic to life.”
