The Tages system has been altered, following last week's complaints.
Ubisoft has amended the DRM on strategy title Anno 2070, following complaints over the way it was working.
As reported last week, the Tages system had an issue with users making hardware changes to their PC. If you switched your graphics card, for example, the game would regard it as a new machine – something of a problem, given that you're only allowed three active installs at once.
Now RockPaperShotgun, who publicised the issue last week, reports that Ubisoft has altered the way the DRM works:
"Just wanted to let you know, that we now remove the graphics hardware from the hash used to identify the PC," said Ubisoft, in a message to the user who filed the initial complaint. "That means everyone should now be able to switch the GFX as many times as he/she wants."
