Datel X2 battery promises double the play time.

Datel have announced that their X2 battery for the PSP will be released on September 1st in the UK. One of the biggest concerns people have with the PSP is its limited battery life, but with Datel's you can get up to eight hours worth of play out of your new handheld.

The slight downside is that the battery is slightly larger than what is supplied with the handheld, but it comes with its own battery cover which promises to make the PSP even more comfortable in your hands. Priced at £34.99 ($49.99 in the USA) this could be a must have accessory for the PSP, if the claims of eight hour battery time are true.
