Super Smash Bros. Brawl slips in Japan

Japanese gamers made to wait until January 24, 2008.

Nintendo today announced that the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Nintendo Wii has been delayed in Japan and is now set for release on January 24.

The online-enabled fighter is on track to arrive in US stores on December 3, but European gamers are in the same boat as Japan and must wait until 2008 - no firm date has been confirmed.

Earlier today it was confirmed that SEGA mascot Sonic the Hedgehog will be a playable character in the game.

dont you mean January 24, 2008...
also on the Official Smash Bros website for the US it doesnt have the date Dec 3rd anymore its now TBA
