The X-Wing game series from LucasArts is now available on Steam and at a discounted price until May 7.

The Star Wars X-Wing Bundle features four classics from the 90s – X-Wing SE, TIE Fighter SE, X-Wing VS TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance – all for £20.69. That’s around £4 cheaper than the same bundle on GOG.

The games can be purchased individually for £6.29.

However, GOG has the upper hand in that its versions of X-Wing and Tie Fighter have been updated to the CD-ROM editions, widely considered to be the ultimate versions of the game. They offer upgraded in-game graphics, rebalanced missions, new scenarios and cutscenes and new voiceovers.

The updates are free to GOG users who already bought the games.
