Sony Xperia smartphones get official DualShock 3 support

No additional software required.

Sony Xperia smartphones will offer full Bluetooth connectivity with the PS3's DualShock 3 controller, Sony has revealed.

You'll need to pair the controller to a compatible phone using USB, but it'll be wireless from there on out. No extra software will be needed.

There's a video of the new functionality using the upcoming Xperia SP below – you'll notice footage Cordy 2, The Conduit HD and Sonic the Hedgehog Episode 2.
