Sony trademarks 'Rain' and 'Until Dawn'

Could be anything, but gamescom is around the corner.
Sony Computer Entertainment has set tongues wagging after securing trademarks for game titles "Rain" and "Until Dawn".
Rain was registered by SCEA with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and by SCEE with The Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) on July 30, 2012.
A connection between Rain and a short gameplay clip featuring quick time events posted on NeoGAF in April has also been made.
SCEA filed the Until Dawn trademark back on May 4.

The obvious conclusion to draw is that Sony will reveal the projects at gamescom next week, but the timing of the trademarks could merely be coincidental.
Sony's gamescom press conference begins at 6pm BST on Tuesday, August 14.
