SCEE chief comments on Microsoft's exclusive GTA 4 DLC deal.
Sony Europe's David Reeves has told VideoGamer.com that Microsoft's exclusive GTA 4 DLC deal with Rockstar is "the last shot they have".
Microsoft has justifiably been chest thumping over its exclusive deal to bring GTA 4 DLC to Xbox 360 owners this autumn, most recently in a note to media reminding gamers that what can't be had on PS3 are the much discussed downloadable episodes, which should offer gamers "hours of additional play".
UK TV adverts for GTA 4 have detailed the game for the Xbox 360 only, and promoted the price of the Xbox 360, from £159.99.
However, when we asked Reeves after his presentation to media at SCEE's PlayStation Day in London last night whether MS' deal with Rockstar was damaging to Sony and the PS3, he replied: "Well I think you probably will see it, it's just that a deal was obviously struck between Microsoft and Take 2 to do that. That's what they want to do. I think that's the last shot they have."

"GTA4 for the PS3 will have DLC episodes of their own, DLC, and Home support. So that's food for thought for you!!! "
Really, you must be privy to information that Rockstar, take 22, and sony haven't released yet. Food for thought, anyone as obviously rabid sony fanboy as yourself SWANN probably should have the good sense not to berate someone else as a fanboy.

I tend to think that the DLC will be slightly disappointing, anyway. Unless it's like the Shivering Isles or something wicked and massive like that. It had better be like the Shivering Isles with all the hype surrounding it. Damn.
