New storyline in which players get to play as an infected James Grayson.
At CES this week Sony Computer Entertainment announced a new Infected mode for its upcoming PSP third-person shooter, Resistance: Retribution.
This game mode will be unlocked when connecting a PSP to a PS3 with a copy of Resistance 2. This will then "infect" Resistance: Retribution, unlocking new ways to play, including:
- New storyline: play as an "infected" James Grayson with new abilities including swimming, health regeneration and increased strength.
- New Spectre uniform
- New R2 weapon: HE .44 Magnum
- Access to new single-player areas
Just to be clear, Sony points out that this content requires copies of both Resistance 2 and Resistance: Retribution.
