SEGA has given Sonic's debut title on the Wii an official name - Wild Fire is now to be known as Sonic and the Secret Rings.
SEGA has updated its European press site, changing the name of its Sonic game for the Wii from Sonic Wild Fire to Sonic and the Secret Rings. The game made quite a splash at E3 back in May, and is a title many Wii fans are looking forward to in 2007.
The game sees Sonic recreating the story of the Arabian Nights after the final pages of the book go missing. It'll be the blue hedgehog's first solo outing since his debut back in 1991.
Sonic and the Secret Rings is scheduled for release in the spring of 2007.
