What gets on my nerves is that the service will be overpriced like all. Also no mention of HD why?

Love that the service will offer fully download and own of movies. Step in the right direction. My view of a central media device/pc that will control everything in the future via it's massive solid state HDD will happen with a separate removable HDD that you can take a film to a friends house etc. When Bandwidth comes to the high levels it's capable of there will be no need for the HDD just stream all media from a central repository by paying a monthly fee which should be as low as the cost of a current DVD.

Just before the PS3 was released in Europe.
And this from Sept 2007

Interesting reading, Sony released a TV in the US in 2007 that could download content from the web.
Maybe before the PS3 came out when Internet speeds were slower they said that, but they have been gearing up for this move for a long time it appears.
And this from today,

Although I usually want to throw a brick at the screen during Harry Potter movies, some of those actors need to go back to drama school.
