Apparently the game is being released largely because of fan demand.
Telltale Games has confirmed to GameSpot that it is working on a Wii port of its successful Sam & Max episodic game series. The first game for the Wii will be a compilation of the first season, from the pilot through to "Bright Side of the Moon".
According to GameSpot, Telltale has revealed that fans are to thank for the Wii version going ahead, in particular an e-mail campaign launched prior to the debut of the episodic Sam & Max series for PC.
It was the ongoing rumour and speculation which is said to have sparked publisher interest in Wii version. Season One is to be published in the US by Dreamcatcher and The Adventure Company, with the European version hitting stores thanks to JoWooD.
An autumn release is planned.
