Rovio teases Star Wars Angry Birds

Rovio has joined forces with Star Wars for its next Angry Birds title, a teaser image from the developer has suggested.

The image, which was published on the Angry Birds Tumblr this afternoon, shows one of the Angry Birds dressed in a Jedi robe and wielding a lightsaber.

Rovio later referred to the game as its "next big thing", and suggested that it would be revealing more information on the title, including "behind the scenes content, animations, comics, and much, much more" over the course of the "next few weeks".

Rovio recently launched Bad Piggies, a spin-off to the popular bird-flinging franchise which sees players building vehicles and devices to help them on their hunt for bird eggs.

The game broke Rovio records, hitting the number one spot on the App Store within three hours of going on sale.
