Rockstar working "around the clock" on PS3 GTA 4 fix

spunquik	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post My GTA4 for PS3 wasn't getting past the load screen. I disconnected internet from the menu, and the game loaded just fine. I think because there is no main menu for online, it being done through the cell phone, the game is trying to log on before play even begins. hence the freeze on the load screen. Reply

Gutted	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I installed it ok, played for 1hr and it wouldn't load again. Tried deleting everything and then turning off the autosave feature etc.. Game played ok and then after restart it wouldn't load. After trying several times I started again (deleting saves and game and reinstalling). I decided not to do the missions and tried the on-line multi-play. How exiting I thought, but after a long wait this kept disconnecting (5 seconds or so before the start) - This is not just me and is soooo annoying for such a big game. I'm going to send it back and get money back Reply

I returned it twice to get different games to see if they are they problem and I did what they say for some reason it hasen't worked. It was working for the first two days then It stoped playing all together. They better fix this and quick. Reply

Sam	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I didnt have any freeze while playing the game but it often stays on the loading screen forever after I launch the game. I tried once to disconnect from psn and it worked fine after that. Hope they'll fix that very soon. Reply

But now when i try sign in through the multiplayer option i freeze and CANT exit even pressing the middle button i cant quit. And then my PS3 gives out a little buzzing sound. Reply

I currently have my 360 out for yet another repair, free ofcourse, but I just bought ps3. A far superior system. Alittle slow at times but much smarter. My gta4 froze while trying to connect online but only then . I have the 40 gb system.. Reply
