Rockstar working "around the clock" on PS3 GTA 4 fix

Let's hope that Rockstar are working on a solution, and quickly. We've been waiting far too long for this game for it to be a complete disaster like this, and I think many people will agree with me there. Reply

riptonic	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post i have a launch 60g ps3 and when i first played the game it had some serious freezing issues for a second every 2 or 3 minutes, but so far everytime i start playing and it starts freezing i just turn off the console and turn it back on and it doesn't freeze anymore. i can play it for 6 to 7 hours after the restart and not see a stutter. shane	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post for the 2 few days i played it for about 4 or 5hrs and diddnt have any problems untill the 3rd day after about 3 hrs of play driving away from the cops and it froze, i couldnt shut the system down by the controller so i killed the power and started again, my ps3 said problem starting game put in diffrent game and it said the same thing, turned it off till the next day and the same thing happend after 3 hrs of play now my ps3 wont play any of my games. i have a 60 g Reply

Tried internet connection, tried no internet connection, tried turning off vibrating function of controller, tried leaving controller hooked in to USB, tried dumming down the resolution. FREEZE everytime, I can't even make it through the first cut scene of the game. MONEY WASTER!! Wait a couple of months before you buy this game so they can work the bugs out, (even though it should have been done at launch) but hey, what can u do. Seems like all they cared about was getting our money, well they got it. Reply

lo5th0pe	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post no luck on any of the fixes. tried them all before they posted them since i'm in the computer tech business anyway. nothing works. if anything, it's more frustrating, since it doesn't seem like they have any idea why we're not able to play beyond the knowledge of an average computer problem technician. i'm sure the game will be great, but doesn't instill hope for any game they may have coming up because i won't be able to play it until they patch it whenever they get around to it. Now everything is still fine when I'm offline, but when i select multiplayer my game freezes. Reply

Jason	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I am having the freezing issue. It happens after the nicely drawn pictures are off the screen and just says "loading - Shadow" in the lower right hand corner. I will try the wipe and re-install to see if it helps. Reply
