The iPhone music genre is set to get serious with news that EA is ready to formally announce Rock Band for Apple's handheld devices.
While official confirmation isn't expected until later today (as Twittered by EA Mobile), IGN reports that the iDevice title will feature licensed tracks.
It looks like fans of Tap Tap Revenge, Guitar Rock Tour and BeatRider have something else to look forward to.
