New television advert confirms the multi-instrument sequel will hit the UK this year.
A new advert designed to promote the Xbox 360 to the casual gamer market has revealed a November 2008 release date for MTV Games' Rock Band 2.
There's been no official word on a UK release from MTV's publishing partner EA, but the advert is pretty strong evidence that the game will be out in time for Christmas on the Xbox 360. There's no indication that the game will also be released this year for Wii and PlayStation 3.

It's odd that no one else has picked up on the implications of this advert. I hope someone actually goes on the record to confirm the release date soon.
