Latest issue of Famitsu magazine features the latest game in the Resident Evil series.

According to some scanned pages of this week's Famitsu magazine, Resident Evil 5 is heading to next-gen consoles - more specifically the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with no Revolution version in sight. Various gaming forums have posted links to the supposed scans which look pretty authentic.

Rough translations have revealed that the game is being produced by Jun Takeuchi, the man behind the Onimusha series. The first images of the game show a much brighter environment than in previous games in the series, with sunlight beaming down into the narrow streets of a rundown town.
