Ratchet: Gladiator getting HD treatment

Game missing from Ratchet & Clank Trilogy will get separate PSN release later this year.

Ratchet: Gladiator, the forgotten game from the series' time on PlayStation 2, is to get the HD treatment.

Gladiator (known as Deadlocked in the US), will arrive on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 later this year. The game saw the lombax and robot duo (although Clank was almost completely absent) taking part in a deadly game show in which contestants have to kill each other - something that would be horrific if it weren't for the cutesy visuals and humour.

No price or release date have been set.

In our Ratchet: Gladiator review over six years ago, we awarded the game 8/10, praising the combat but missing the series' trademark platforming elements.
