Sony has invited players to sign up to beta test a major new PS4 system update ahead of its public release.

The System Software 3.5 Beta Trial is due to take place early next month and will give selected players "a sneak peek at some of the features making their way to your PS4".

Quite what they'll be though isn't yet clear: Sony has yet to confirm what new features it has in store for PS4, or when the system update will roll out publicly.

"The beta program will kick off in early March, and if you’re part of it, you’ll receive an email with instructions on downloading the system software," Sony says. "You can roll back to the previous system software at any time, so don't worry about downloading the beta. In order to sign up, you'll need a PS4 with an internet connection and a master account.

"We'll share more details on which features you'll be able to test when the beta begins."

Signing up to the beta doesn't guarantee access, but if you fancy your chances, head through here to register your interest.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.
