Touch screen stations will offer PS3 games, DVDs, Blu-rays and downloads 24/7.
Stuff.tv reports from the Stuff Live technology exhibition where it's managed to secure exclusive info on a new vending machine soon to be rolled out across the UK.
We're not talking beverages or snack foods and sweets, oh no, this vending machine will be coughing up PS3 games, DVDs, Blu-rays and even downloads direct to memory cards. The new PoP "entertainment vending machine" is a joint venture between Universal Pictures and Sony Computer Entertainment.
At launch the machines will stock 150 movies, including recent hits such as Hellboy II and Mamma Mia. If you're not keen on real world possessions then you'll also be able to download movies and music direct to most MP3/MP4 players and SD memory cards.
You should begin to see the PoP vending machines in cinemas, gyms, universities and travel stations across the UK soon.

They can either be used to download on to memory card or burn a proper disc, and tend to be cheaper than the shop versions.
What exactly is so terrible about that idea?
