PS3 Slim shipments ready in July?

Sony signs production contracts for the rumoured console update.

Taiwanese website UDN reports that Sony has signed production contracts with two companies to begin manufacturing the heavily rumoured PS3 Slim. The manufacturing companies are said to have been given a delivery date of July, 2009.

If a launch allocation of PS3 Slim consoles is ready for later this month, it could mean Sony will have the units in stores for August. This would support reports that the current 80GB PS3 console will shortly begin to be supply constrained, with retailers looking to move out the older SKU in preparation for the Slim.

it is 40 thousand pesos or some thing, and that is 250 pound to you and me. And tbh That is good, 100 pound would be perfect, but sony still need to make money after all. and i think 250 pound with a Duel shock 3 is good. as the xbox is 225? right now so as you get more with a PS3 etc. i think the Ps3 finally is better value to every one
