Advertising agency TBWA has informed GamesIndustry.biz that the advertising campaign for the European PlayStation 3 launch will begin towards the end of March. This backs up previous comments from SCEE boss David Reeves, who confirmed only last month that the European PlayStation 3 launch was on track for March.

The news of a late March release is further backed by an unnamed retail source, telling GamesIndustry.biz: "It's safe to assume that the PS3 launch will be towards the end of the month. My money is on the 23rd."

If the same source is to be believed, we don't have long to wait until an official announcement regarding the launch is made - at some point within the next fortnight according to the source.

The PS3 is the best console of the three new ones. Here's why:
The Wii has a motion sensing control system
The Xbox 360 has got great graphics
The PS3 has got both!

It really doesn't matter when it's released. It's already failed. But of course, dozens of people will still blindly follow Sony and the Playstation and doll out hundreds for this useless machine.

of course it's going to launch in March. Nobody else wants em, so this is one promise Sony can keep!
