Speaking during an earnings call with investors last night Activision Publishing boss Mike Griffith has confirmed its title line-up for the three month period ending June 30 2009.

The second quarter of 2009 will be headed up with strong movie licensed titles, including X-Men Origins, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Ice Age 3. The previous Transformers title has sold nearly five million units to date, while the Ice Age 2 video game is nearing two million units sales.

Joining these will be the open-city action title Prototype and new additions to the Guitar Hero franchise: a new title for Nintendo DS and a new console Guitar Hero title that includes full band versions of the most popular songs from previous games.
