Porn on the 360 Sky Player?

'Unlikely', but 'always possible', says Sky.

Television X, The Adult Channel and Playboy TV - all porn channels available from Sky in the UK. Now that Microsoft has launched the Sky Player on Xbox 360, does that mean that you'll now be able to watch porn on the console?

"Unlikely" said Sky's director of On Demand Griff Parry in an interview with VideoGamer.com. "No plans at the moment. I suspect it's quite unlikely. But it's always possible."

After some technical hiccups on Tuesday, you're now able to download and use the Sky Player, Sky's internet-based TV service, on Xbox 360.

Currently it offers 24 live channels including sports and movies. Live sports and movies can also be enhanced with the Avatar Party mode, bringing friends together to chat and emote.

In addition to live TV, Sky Player also offers TV on demand, with hundreds of movies, sports, TV shows and documentaries available when you want them.

Adult channels, however, aren't on the list, and probably won't be any time soon.

"The general idea is we're reassembling the set-top box proposition," said Parry. "Those channels are part of that. But I think they would be among the last things we would look to add. The focus is a mainstream proposition."

So there you have it. The PC, it seems, is still number one for something.
