Pokemon Black and White 2 announced for DS - European release in autumn 2012

Sequels due for release in Japan in June.

The next titles in the main Pokemon series will be released in Japan this June, Nintendo has announced - a European launch will follow in the autumn. Pokemon Black and White 2 are DS, rather than 3DS titles, although you can obviously play both on the 3DS due to its backwards compatibility with the DS.

Previous Pokemon games have seen a third game, but this is the first time we've seen two sequels. As expected, each game will feature a brand new legendary monster: Black Kyurem in Pokemon Black 2 and White Kyurem in Pokemon White 2.

Interesting idea, if they are continuing the story I guess this is far enough. I've had enough off pokemon for a while having, heart-gold I expect a lot from black/white, and was a little disappointed, not in the quality, but the quantity. There was so much more to do in the gen 2 remakes, much more then in gen five, that I finished white in half the time.

Still I keep watch of this game just in case I'm bored next year.
