A Microsoft spokesperson has reassured gamers that there will be plenty of copies of Crackdown available with Halo 3 beta entry.
When Microsoft announced that it would be including Halo 3 beta entry with specially marked copies of its super-cop action title Crackdown, all Halo fans suddenly had a straightforward route to get into the beta. The only worry was how many copies of the game would include the beta entry.
According to a Microsoft spokesperson, all gamers wishing to get on the Halo 3 beta via Crackdown should have no trouble in securing a specially marked version of the game.
"The initial shipment of Crackdown at retail will include access to the Halo 3 beta," a MS spokesperson wrote on Gamerscoreblog. "The 'initial shipment' is pretty huge, so there will be enough to go around."
If you're still worried about not being able to get hold of a special copy, the spokesperson writes that "you can guarantee entrance into the Halo 3 Beta by purchasing a copy of Crackdown when it launches."

I don't think this is the case after playing the demo. Crackdown is a great game and needs no help from the Halo beta to sell. By adding the beta to Crackdown, you will have a great game to play before and after the beta not to mention it is a great way to get Halo fanboys to try a different game
