PlayTV to launch on March 28 with £99 price tag?

Leading entertainment retailer indicates the PVR system will launch for PS3 next month.

HMV online has listed the forthcoming PlayTV adapter and service with a release date of March 28 and price tag of £99.99.

PlayTV is a digital video recorder service for the PlayStation 3 which will enable users to watch live Freeview TV, record their favourite shows, pause live TV and a whole lot more. We recently got to check out the device and will be publishing full impressions soon.

We contacted Sony regarding the HMV PlayTV product listing and were told the retailer didn't get the info from them

"We have yet to confirm a price and release date for PlayTV, so I'm afraid this cannot be confirmed at this time," said a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson.
