I loved my psp so I think Id like the Vita but until there are enough games that I feel like I can get some serious use out of it, it isnt worth the money. I was hoping to hear more announcements at E3 for more games but maybe around X Mas there will be enough coming to justify buying it to me.
£169 isn't cheap for a piece of electronics that'll just sit in the cubby hole in the left of my desk on top of the PSP. I'm still recovering from the £50 PSP burns. In fact when it comes to me and handhelds, there is no such thing as cheap, they're about as useful to me as ... I can't think of anything.
This makes me want it a bit more but still not going out to buy it now. I like the machine itself and the idea of it but without good games its never going to be a big seller.

Even better deal now @Amazon
"Buy a PlayStation Vita (Wi-Fi) and get a Free 4GB Memory Card and a Selected Game For £15"
and they are better than Play in my view but it looks like there is gonna be a price war!
Large price drop, It was expected but at this time of the year? It's quite strange. Maybe it's to counteract there are no games for the system. Either way, once they get some games I would play like a "Tales of" game, only then would I get one.
I gave it a good couple of hours and hated it and then left it for a bit as I felt "Maybe I just had a bad start" and then went back on it and felt exactly the same, must have given it 8-10 hours. Never been so detached while playing a game on a console like I was with the Vita.
I even stuck it out with the original PSP.
I bought one before on ebay for 160 quid and I listed it the same day. Could not get to grips with the controls with the screen being too big and hated it. I was never able to "switch off" like other consoles and could never get engrossed in it. The games is a slight problem but in my view it's not as bad as Neon makes out in my view, esspecially it's getting its own AC game as well as a Call of Duty with it's AAA. The games at the mo look good but it's controls...
I'm close to getting shot of mine as I'm sick of waiting for something that I really want to play on it - I should know by now not to buy something as soon as it comes out!
Make it £120 and I still wouldn't buy it because there are no games. Atm I'd only buy it for Uncharted and Assassin's Creed (which isn't even out yet.) When there's something as entertaining as Liberty City Stories for Vita then I may buy one.

It's the worse console I have ever bought anyway.
