"why not better than ps3? cell processor. thats why."
Sounds like you contradicted yourself there. If its not about the graphics then I can sure as hell tell you that any processor out there will do fine. Just for a little more clarification, at least from what I understand, is the 360 actually has a better GRAPHICS processor or vid card also the 360 does a better job of handling data inputs/outputs, kinda like an AMD compared against an Intel machine.
People are not happy with the PS3's price tag and the controller is just one more strike against the PS3 with really nothing besides blu-ray being different than the 360 or Wii. Sad thing is that blu-ray might end up going the same route as sonys beta max, down hill into nothing.
If Wii gets released at or before the PS3's launch date, then I can almost certainly say the PS3 is doomed, especially if MS offers the HD-DVD player at $100 at or before the PS3's launch date.
Sony needs to take a big loss, for the rootkits, stealing ideas from other game devolopers, and lying to it's customers!

I don't think Sony have really thought through their strategy on this properly. They decided they needed something as a sort of reply to Nintendo and this is what they come up with. Not a bad idea, although not original in any sense. Surely with some thought they could have found a workaround? Perhaps turning off rumble when using the tilt functions? On the other hand removing 'rumble' maybe a balance and weight issue as well? I dont' know, but the whole move smacks of a knee-jerk reaction from Sony.Last edited on Tue 9 May 2006 by vandy

Developers need to realize that controllers are getting to bulky, multiple buttoned pieces of crap! instead of adding feedback, lights or missiles launchers - be innovate like Nintendo. Think outside the box and get the player into the game.
For all the 360 lovers - how does it feel to be Gate's love monkey?
