The self confessed gaming addict is flying to the UK to host the Halo 3 Premiere at London's BFI IMAX cinema.
Following earlier news regarding the UK Halo 3 launch, Microsoft has announced that Pharrell Williams is to host the Halo 3 Premiere event on Tuesday September 25. The US music superstar will also be playing the game, taking on members of the public and other celebrities from around Europe via Xbox LIVE.
Premiere events are taking place around Europe, including London, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam and Milan. Each of these venues will be linked via Xbox LIVE with stars from each country battling in Halo 3 multiplayer.
Pre-orders for Halo 3 have past 1.25 million globally and the game is expected to be a hit of blockbuster movie proportions when it launches across the world from September 25. The European release is set for September 26, one day later than North America. The game will arrive in Japan on September 27.
