PES 2008 patch to combat offline and online issues

Me and friends decided to get off our butts and look into this whole ps3 framerate fiasco, so this isn't a question so to speak but after all our testing on exhibition mode may be the following could help others:
Hdtv has better results then sdtv, (not much better though)
turning stadium features off helps (though not much)
turning commentry on or off didn't really work or do anything..

but heres the real puzzler, we tried all the season settings, time, balls etc, the play becomes classic brilliant pes play when you switch to winter. no need to switch anything else off, works perfect on sdtv as well. even full on rain makes no differance. Summer causes all the problems. we don't know why but the above works and as I'm writing this we've gone and had full 10 minute matches in 6 stadiums so far.
still can't play master league, cup, or the other modes cause half the games on summer setting so according to our theory its effed up, so fifty fifty your gonna get bad framerates.
can anybody else test this on their ps3 cause we fiddled with our ps3 settings before hand so we are't totally sure if its only on our ps3.
*by the way games still a effing ripoff, patch better fix a few things or they'll lose a big chunk of their fanchise. and by big I mean by word of mouth. Everyone I know is talking about pes next gen and that it sucks big time.

in the summer i worked my rear end off to gather enough cash to buy a ps3.doing loads of overtime at work i was near to dead.i also bought a hd tv costing 250 with a hd cable costing 60 quid. the ps3 at the time cost me 425 quid so altogether that is over 700 quid wasted in my oppinion. the new pro evo is appalling in my oppinion and i being a master of the game buying every series since the start this one is the most disappointing yet for me.the edit mode is seriously weak u cant even edit the kits prorperly to get look alike kits in the premiership and where has the boot editing gone?u cud make niike vapours eaasliy and now that is not an option.i have no clue how to get a sponsor on the kits for the premiership and this disapoints me after trying to get the camera to work for the game so i cud maybe mould my face onto the game or take pictures of sponsors but this is not here either. again the music is awful with one song like an australian jigg.overall this game is very poor and i admit i also bought fifa 08 a few weeks before it and overall now fifa has beaten pro evo and this is hard for me to say as i love or should i say loved pro evo but now i am merely disapointed and i think i that i will be trading this game in for something much better. and yes the freezes in the game are appalling. one thing i can say is they still have the flowing moves that pro evo brings to the table which is still good but all these poor changes have made me believe that the makers have been rather lazy and i have wasted my money. overall rarting 4 out of 10.

i should really stop having a go at people but...i stopped reading that half way through because of how stupid it looks. Then i forced myself to read it. Now i'm going to mock you - so here goes:

1. If you're not passing right - you're bad at passing - Learn to pass.

2. You can set it so that YOU MANUALLY change the player - so the computer doesn't - so it's your fault if you're changing players.

3. If the computer COUNTER ATTACKS (Yes, its a known tactic in this game) you and scores - then thats not its fault you can't defend Tongue

4. The kits are not set to look much like the real ones - hence the edit mode. I have the Arsenal kit down to a tee bar the logo and the sponsor - which ill get once i have either 1. the Camera or 2. A Custom Option file

P.S if you want perfect kits - and you dont want effort to pass - play Fifa

having just purchased pes3 for my ps3 i am feeling well pleased with myself i have made the switch from pes on xbox and decided to try it on the competitions console have to say i have noticed that when i strike the ball full volley from about 25 yrds out glich then time for some slow mo action my problem now is have i made the wrong choice and gone against my better jusdgement i wish i had stuck with my xbox. ???????????????????

It remains unclear how PES fans who are not connected to the Internet will be able to improve the quality of their game experience, however.

it has a significant difference if you must know - the difference between SDTV and HD on 2008 is sick in terms of how bad it plays on SDTV
