PAL PlayStation 3 launch delayed until March 07

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that the launch of the PlayStation 3 in PAL territories has been delayed until March 07.

Especially with the delay, Europe loves Sony so why have they pimped slap it in the face? » Go to Tomarlyn's original post First you need to know x-360 got 4 things that would stop it from falling behind of sony 1. it has HDdvd (but sold seperately to the console) 2. it got directx 10, 3. it got 2 main exclusive games that would not be available on ps3 like Halo 3 and Gear of War, 4. x-360 have 1 year a head of ps3. But However ps3 has 3 main things that stop x-360 from leading in next gen war 1. ps3 had blue-ray, 2. it have more exlusive games such as Metal Gear solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Resistance: Fall of Man, Formula One 06 and many more ...., 3. x-360 is doing poorly in Japan than it doing in Europe and America, 4. x-360 can only play game play game upto 8.5gb even if resistance fall of man is availble on x-360 it would can't play like a ps3. Is it worth buying a PS2 or waiting for the PS3. Q: Would you still be able to buy new PS2 games when the PS3 comes out? Q: How much will a PS3 be? He is only 7. You can buy a PS2 now for around £100, where as the PS3 will be available around March 2007 for about £400+. If you do decide to buy a PS3 then you will be able to play PS2 games on it. Report Reply

For the price of a PS3 you could buy a PS2 and a Nintendo Wii which looks like it could be something kids will enjoy using. Report Reply

My problem is that we have an old XBox and now they are not making the games for it. Only for the XBOX 360. I don't want to buy a PS2 if they stop making PS2 games? jtorry	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post PS2 games will still be coming out for probably another year - especially the movie licensed stuff and kids games, but all the major franchises will now be moving to the Xbox 360 and PS3. If you buy a PS2 now for £100 ish, you'll have hundreds of games to choose from that are already out. You can then buy a PS3 at a later date maybe. There won't be a lot of games for children coming out for the PS3 launch. Report Reply

I am swinging 2wards buying him an xbox 360 as I won't be able 2 afford the new PS3 and I don't want to become unstuck with old games. He loves all the fifa and total club manager stuff - which you can't get on the old xbox (well not the 07 stuff) and I don't want to be in the same position if I get the PS2 next year. Will prob. opt for the Xbox 360 as that will be around for a few more years before they make another one. Thx 4 all your help. I will prob. be back in touch - when we need help to set it up. Have you ever ordered anything from them. As I did read feedback that someone did not receive something ordered and had trouble getting their money back? Reply
