Media Create reports that for the week ending November 16, the DSi sold 85,327 units in Japan. The now obviously old-hat DS Lite shifted 3,559 units. Sony's PSP managed a respectable 38,153 units, although down from last week's 43,726 units.

In the home console war the Wii remains top dog, sales up from 24,726 units to 26,787 units. The PS3's weekly tally is down ever so slightly from 18,354 units to 17,448 units and the Xbox 360 slips from 12,759 units to 7,983 units. The PS2 brings up the rear with 5,421 units sold.

The Japanese software chart was once again dominated by Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe on the DS - 97,449 units bringing its total to 363,102 units. It was also a strong week for the PS3 with Way of the Samurai 3 new at No.2 with 81,047 units and Resistance 2 new at No.5 with 33,584 units sold.

I am interested in purchasing one of these, however, I still have a gripe that MP3 is not used for Music files.
