Nintendo plans to release new Wii Zelda in 2010

Speaking to Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that the in development Legend of Zelda title for Wii is to be released before the end of the year.

The paper did not indicate if this 2010 release date applies to the game hitting stores worldwide or just the Japanese market.

The new Legend of Zelda was announced back at E3 2009 and according to Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma will feature a new structure for a Zelda game.

If this game turns out to be Excellent then I may buy it but not being a big Zelda fan (ok haven't play one) I probably won't buy it...

Really looking forward to this game coming out. I hope they havent straid to far from the Zelda formula and looking forward to seeing this at the E3 show this year. Id also like them to Bring out and F- Zero game and Wave Race come on Nintendo do something about it.
