Resident Evil Afterlife to be set in Tokyo and Alaska.
According to an inside source speaking to ShockTillYouDrop.com, the next Resident Evil film will see a theatrical release no later than September 17, 2010.
Director Paul W.S. Anderson has been working on drafts of the script for what an internal studio memo is calling Resident Evil: Afterlife. The film's apparently set in Tokyo and Alaska.
The report doesn't indicate if Milla Jovovich will reprise her role as Alice.

I still can't believe Capcom rejected Romero's original script and went with Paul (I will ruin all potentially great franchises) WS Anderson's lame attempt.

Having said that I am looking forward to seeing her kick Wesker's butt in the next movie, assuming that's the direction the story is going. Just as long as she doesn't keep doing her spinning kick off the wall move whenever she meets a dog, that's getting really old now.
